Caprera Island

Program:

Meeting time at Orso Diving Base at 9.30 a.m. - Return planned within 13.00 a.m.

At 10.00 o'clock we will admire le first bays of Caprera just to arrive within 10.30 at the marvellous "Cala Coticcio", famous as "Thaity", from the little beach of the bay, with trekking shoes or sneakers, we will advanc in the most wild and beautiful island of Caprera, after about an hour's walk we will reach the small disused jetty which is located in the north of the island known as Cameo where we wait for our technical boat. We will spend our last hour snorkeling along the coast till to Cala Coticcio the most beautiful and interesting for snorkeling.

Nb. This excursion is not recommended to children under 6 year of age cause reason of mobility

Afternoon snorkeling excursion:
Caprera Tour

This is the best way to know the most beautiful island of the Arcipelago di La Maddalena. You can admire postcard landscape as the famous "Cala Coticcio", knows with the name of "Thaity" and snorkel in the middle of clouds full of fish searching food (Occhiate) or snorkel at Punta Coticcio where it is forbidden the spear fishing, so with a little chance you could meet big fish too.

A very pleasant excursion and a lot of people make it twice.

Program:

Meeting time at Orso Diving Base at 3.15 p.m. - Return planned at around 6.30 p.m.

After 5 minutes of navigation from Poltu Quatu we will reach "Punta Rossa" (extreme South of Caprera) and towards North we will find wonderful beaches as "Cala Andreana", "Spiaggia del Relitto", "Cala Coticcio" where we will have our first stop enjoying the snorkeling and relaxing. We will continue our navigation towards North hugging the coast of Caprera the most wild and impervious area of the island till "Baia Candeo" where we will stop again for the snorkeling.

We will continue our circumnavigation of Caprera doubling "Punta Galera" and towards South we will reach the beautiful little bay of "Cala Napoletana", "Cala Caprese" and "Cala Garibaldi". Than we will pass under the bridge who connect Caprera to La Maddalena Island where we will have our last stop at the big bay of Porto Palma, before cruising back home.

Archipelago of Lavezzi

On board of the new boat Orso-Cat you will able to admire the wonderful "Arcipelago of Corsica" in the middle of Channel of Bonifacio... absolutely to see.

The island of Lavezzi, is famous for its uncontaminated beauty where live only the park-keepers. Piana Island is little more than a  bench of sand but all around the colours of the sea is wonderful as a swimminpool. it's impossible no dive.

Than there is the Island of Cavallò, very famous as V.I.P. summer residence. When you will see it you will understand the reason!

Lavezzi is the first and most spectacular Marine Park of Mediterranean Sea. In the first 5 meters from the surface you will have the opportunity to snorkel and meet the best of Mediterranean Sea  as "Groupers" or "Corvine" and so on.

Program*:

Meeting time at Orso Diving Base at 10.00 a.m. - Return planned at around 6.00 p.m.  

After 45 minutes of navigation at around 11.00 a.m. we will reach the Island of Lavezzi, during the trip we will see the islands of the Arcipelago of La Maddalena and the Channel of Bonifacio

Arriving at the Island of Lavezzi we will enjoy ourself snorkeling and swimming in the most beautiful place of the island, till the lunch time (about 2 hours) where you can try the underwater experience of the discovery scuba diving.  

At around 3.00 p.m. we will reach Piana Island, half hour for a bath and departure to Cavallò Island, admiring the famours beaches of Cala Zeri and Palmà.

At around 4.00 p.m. we will depart to reach the big rock-cliffs of Sperduti in the middle of the sea where we will snorkel for one hour before to come back to Poltu Quatu

N.B. During the snorkeling breaks, qualified also for the scuba diving, expert diver can dive by himself (diver buddy compulsory).
